
Basil infused lemonade
Ingredients
½ – 2/3 cup agave
200ml water
Juice of 5 lemons, approx. 200ml
800ml soda water
10 + basil leaves (add more for a stronger flavour)
Bring the agave and water to the boil, and add the basil leaves. Simmer for a few minutes, then remove from the heat and allow to cool.
Mix the lemon juice and soda water together, then slowly add the syrup mix, mixing thoroughly according to your taste. I used all of it.
Serve over ice for a refreshing summer drink.
